Entry requirements for your destination country

Romania

All persons (without exception) arriving in Romania must fill in an electronic form BY REFERENCE not later than 24 hours before entering Romania. Foreign nationals and stateless persons arriving in Romania from third countries are subjected to a 14-day quarantine regime (at their home/declared address) regardless of the country from which they come. Exceptions may be applied to the following categories:
  • persons have been vaccinated against COVID-19 virus (vaccines recognized in the EU, with COVID certificates in Annex or from Portal Diia ) and it has been 10 days from completion of the complete vaccination scheme until entry into Romania + negative PCR test in Annex Diia, 48 hours prior entry;
  • persons who stay on Romanian territory for less than 3 days / 72 hours (in exceptional/urgent cases, as documented) and have a certificate of negative result of the RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 infection (issued by Ukraine in accordance with the system «Unified State E-services Portal» (portal Diia and mobile applications), carried out not more than 48 hours before boarding (for public transport) or entry into national territory (for own transport). In the event that citizens do not leave the national territory within 3 days (72 hours), inform the public health authority of the district in which they live or have an address indicated upon entering the country, they will be quarantined for 14 days, from the fourth day after entering Romanian territory;
  • SARS-CoV-2 Positive Confirmation of Infection in the last 180 days prior to entry into the country (with COVID Certificate in Annex Diia), for which at least 14 days have elapsed between the confirmation date of contamination and the date of entry + PCR-negative test in annex Diia taken within 48 hours before entry;
  • children under the age of 12, without the need for a negative RT-PCR test result;
  • children between 12 and 16 years of age, if they have a certificate of the negative result of the RT-PCR test (issued by Ukraine exclusively according to the system «Unified State Portal of Electronic Services» (portal Diia and mobile application) made not later than 48 hours before landing (for those who travel by public transport) or entry into Romania (for those who travel by own transport).

Please note! Romania does not accept paper international certificates of vaccination and/or testing.

Greece

From 14 May 2021 Ukrainian citizens have been allowed to enter the Hellenic Republic

Entry requirements for tourist purposes:

  • Tourists must fill in the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) no later than 23:59 (11.59 PM) of the day before arriving in Greece (Follow the link).
  • Prior to departure, all travelers must ensure that they carry an acceptable form of certification of their health condition. Acceptable documents include:

    • A negative PCR molecular test result from a laboratory; the test must be taken up to 72 hours before entry.
    • A negative antigen (rapid) test result from a laboratory; the test must be taken up to 48 hours before entry.
    • A vaccination certificate issued by a certified authority.
    • A certificate of recovery from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection issued by a public authority or a certified laboratory. The certificate is issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test and is valid for 180 days after it.
    • Proof that the traveler was tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 to 180 days. This can be proved either by presenting a positive PCR molecular or an antigen test result performed by an authorized laboratory or a medical certificate confirming that the holder was tested positive with SARS-CoV-2 virus infection.

    The vaccination certificate in the "Diya" application is acceptable for crossing the border.

    All certificates must include the critical information (i.e. number of doses and their respective dates) in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and the person’s full name must match the name on the passport or any other recognized travel document.

    Only children under the age of 12 will not be required to undergo a PCR test.

    Turkey

    Dear passengers following the direction of Ukraine-Turkey route, make your notice to the necessity to fill in the electronic form and carry a printed or downloaded to a mobile device form Passenger Locator Form (PLF), which is accessible via hyperlink.

    PLF must be completed within 72 hours prior to departure for each passenger separately, including children of all ages.

    Entry into Turkey from 02.06.2021 for citizens of Ukraine is not permitted without:

    • International certificate in Ukrainian and English with seal and signature of vaccination carried out at least 14 days before arrival in Turkey and / or earlier disease on COVID-19 during the last 6 months before arrival or
    • Information with QR-code (paper or electronic) about the negative result of the PCR test on COVID-19, made not more than 72 hours from the moment of material taken to the time / the date of arrival in Turkey or
    • Information (paper or electronic) about a negative COVID-19 antigen rapid test made no more than 48 hours from the moment of material extraction to the time of / the date of arrival in Turkey

    The vaccination certificate in the "Diya" application is acceptable for crossing the border.

    This requirement does not apply only to transit and transfer passengers.

    The exception is for children (under 12 years of age) who do not need a certificate.

    For the sake of clarity in the transition to the new entry procedure for persons arriving in Turkey from Ukraine, before mentioned procedure will take effect on 4 June 2021. The old entry procedure will be valid until the specified date.

    Montenegro

    From 13 January 2022, entry into Montenegro is permitted subject to one of the following conditions:

    • confirmation that the person has been completely vaccinated against COVID-19. After the last dose of the vaccine it must be 14 days, but not more than 6 months! That is, the validity of the certificate is limited to 6 months. And those who were vaccinated more than six months ago are required to provide evidence of revaccination or a negative test;
    • negative PCR test not older than 72 hours;
    • a negative rapid test for antigen within 48 hours;
    • confirmation of recovery from Covid-19 (positive PCR or rapid antigen test, which must be at least 10 days and not more than 180 days).

    Children under the age of 18 will not be subject to testing or vaccination requirements.

    Serbia

    Foreign nationals (including Ukrainians) are allowed to enter Serbia if one of the following documents is available:

    • Confirmation that the person was fully vaccinated against COVID 19;
    • Negative PCR test done no earlier than 48 hours before border crossing;

    Children under the age of 12 are allowed to enter Serbia without the above-mentioned documents.

    Citizens of Serbia and persons with permanent or temporary residence in the country can also enter Serbia without the above-mentioned documents, but would have to undergo a 10-day self-isolation.

    Bulgaria

    From December 20, 2021 on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria will be allowed persons who will provide:

    • EU digital COVID vaccination certificate or similar document; or
    • EU digital COVID certificate of transferred disease or similar document; or
    • EU digital COVID certificate of PCR testing or similar document.

    Ukrainians have the right to enter with the application Action or a document printed from the portal Action.

    Children under the age of 12 are allowed to enter Bulgaria without COVID-19 documentation.

    Croatia

    Persons who travel for tourist purposes and hold a certificate of paid accommodation in a hotel, camping, private tenant or rented vessel, or other form of tourist accommodation , or own houses / ships in the Republic of Croatia, Entry into the Republic of Croatia is permitted upon the presentation of one of the following certificates:

    • a negative PCR test result that not exceeding 72 hours (from time of smear to arrival at the border crossing point) , or a rapid SARS-CoV-2 antigen test result that not exceeding 48 hours (from time of smear to arrival at the border crossing point).
      Children under twelve years of age travelling accompanied by a parent/guardian are exempt from the obligation to present a negative test result and to self-isolate if the parents/guardians have a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate or a negative PCR or rapid antigen - RAT test result or if they have a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of having recovered from COVID-19. If the stay in the Republic of Croatia is planned for more than 10 days, and an antigen test was presented at the time of entry, the antigen test must be repeated within ten days from the date of issuance of the first test;
    • a vaccination certificate for persons who received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine more than 14 days prior to arrival. If the vaccine is a single dose, it must also be taking more than 14 days prior to arrival.
      If there are grounds to enter Croatia, it is necessary to register your intention on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Croatia https:/entercroatia.mup.hr and print out the registration number of the application - such confirmation will speed up border crossing, but it is not, however, an entry permit from the Croatian Ministry of Internal Affairs

    The vaccination certificate in the "Diya" application is acceptable for crossing the border.

    Egypt

    Attention! The validity of a foreign passport of Ukrainian citizens must be at least 6 months (from the date of arrival in Egypt).

    Dear passengers traveling from Ukraine to Egypt, please pay your attention to the need to have a form completed in English, available at the link, for the successful passage of border control at the airport of arrival.

    Kindly be informed that cabinet of ministers has issued a decree which will be effective from 01 Sep 2020 and contains the following :

    • Entry to all Egyptian airports for all nationalities ( include the Egyptians ), isn’t allowed without PCR test certificate ( negative result ) 72 hours before the arrival date .
    • Children ( Age less than 12 years ) are exempted from PCR test certificate .

    Negative PCR test certificate must be presented by the passenger on arrival in Egypt must meet the following conditions:

    • original bill with a stamp and QR-code in paper or electronic form (on the phone / tablet / etc.), issued by a laboratory accredited by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
    • obligatory one hard copy of this certificate, which is taken by the representatives of the Quarantine Service at the airports of Egypt
    • English (or Arabic) only
    • with registered test date and time
    • The certificate (in electronic or paper form) must be free of scratches, crossings and additions.

    The vaccination certificate in the "Diya" application is acceptable for crossing the border.

    Features of animals transportation

    For animals arriving at Hurghada:

    In addition to the standard documents that must be prepared by the passenger for departure, upon arrival at the airport in Hurghada, the animal will need to be tested for COVID-19 at a cost of 1100 L.E. at the Veterinary Quarantine Service of the airport. A certificate only from this service with a negative COVID-19 test result is an acceptable animal for crossing the border.

    For animals departing from Hurghada:

    In addition to the standard documents, the passenger must obtain the official permission of the Veterinary Quarantine Service of the airport, no later than 5 working days before departure.

    All animals arriving at Sharm el-Sheikh Airport, except for standard medical certificates and documents, must have tested negative for COVID-19 at least 72 hours before arrival. The animal should be tested at the point of departure, as there is no such possibility at Sharm el-Sheikh Airport.
